Classroom Reveal

My Five For Friday {a little late}!
Can you believe it is already Back to School? I. Just. Can't. Believe. It. I thought I better get my classroom reveal up before the craziness of Back to School starts!

I kept a lot of my bulletin boards up from last year. My paper was still in great shape. I decided I didn't want to spend another couple hundred dollars re-doing the paper. I know all you teachers can relate!

Here is my classroom tour:

I LOVE my new lanterns! That big black box has bugged me for years! I thought I'd try and hide it with the lanterns. I also recovered my crate seats with polka dot fabric.
My fabric chandeliers I made with my teacher besties:).

Yes, I painted my desk! A little black chalk paint....looks good as new!
I also created some new Subway chalk art for my frames. You can pick these up in my TPT shop!

I especially love the "Think before you speak" sign. My grandma, who used to help out in my classroom, always said this to my kiddos. Last year, one of my firsties from the year before, came up to me and said, "I'm thinking before I'm speaking!" Ahhh...my eyes filled with tears. #guardianangel

I am loving my new birthday pack! You can also find this in my TPT store! This is one of the bulletin boards that did get a make-over. How could I resist polka dot paper?

Birthday pencils for the year are ready!
Ok, what first grader doesn't love noisemakers?! These are my Back to School night goodies for the kids! Notice how they are not first day of school gifts:)? We have Back to School night the evening before school starts. The noise makers will get to go home with mom & dad:).

I needed to make a new job chart to match my decor. Yes, of course, everything has to match:). Any-hoo...I whipped this up real quick and laminated it. #teacherslovelaminating

There you have it...my classroom reveal {that may have been more than five things}. Cheers to an awesome school year!
